There has been no report of sighting of hilal for Rabbi Al-Awwal 1433 on the eve of Monday the 29th Safar 1433, 23rd January 2012, from anywhere within the parameters of the Hilal Committee of Toronto.

Therefore the Hilal Committee declares Tuesday the 30th of Safar 1433 and the month of Rabbi Al Awwal will begin on Wednesday corresponding with 25th January 2012. Correspondingly the 29th of Rabi al Awwal will fall on Wednesday the 22nd Feb 2012.
